(Anonymous) 2011-12-19 12:20 am (UTC)(link)Um, she found out her boyfriend was murdered a few months before that kiss. That's not exactly "ages". Also, Cho was at least dating Cedric before the Yule Ball when she was asked out by him. So that's more than six months since they were together.
And you have to remember, this isn't a break up or something more normal of Cedric and Cho parting ways. He was murdered. There's going to be more emotions built up because of that.
