I thought they would at leave could have been there for each other in the aftermath of their sexual traumas. But for some reason Jason got ever his lickaty split and Tara had a year to cope and was still bitter. Not that I blame her at all.

and I was just staring at the tv in horror. we were supposed to laugh at that?? they really treated that storyline terribly

and the two are not even comparable. Jason had a lot of consensual sex with women. He didn't rape them, which is what he was. Jason was raped and how can they even compare that to consensual sex? it's infuriating.

I wish he and Tara would have had a serious talk about it where she told him it wasn't his fault and they helped each other get through it.

also the fact that Alan Ball said this when asked about the scene made me throw up in my mouth a little:

I honestly have no idea what he was thinking. at least there was a lot of backlash over the whole thing (though I did see people who did think it was funny that Jason got raped. of course, they didn't actually consider it to be "real" rape.)
