Uhmmmm... he was distinct.

I'm very.... very bad with faces AND names. So distinct, easily-identifiable features, such as accents and his skull mask, really make it easier for me to distinguish him and pick up on more of his characterization.

But that obviously doesn't apply to everyone. It's just all I can say, 'cause I think that's my reasoning.

Because Gaz was the fandom favourite from the first game, and he's basically Gaz with a 1337 cool skull mask. So, Gaz+. And for those that didn't play the first game, I can only assume it's the mystery and all that. Plus skull mask.
