What makes you so sure they aren't?

Seriousy, are you trying to suggest that people shouldn't be on the internet at all if they're not recovered yet? Because that's kind of BS.

I'm saying they need to be a lot more choosy about where they go, and accept that accidental triggers will happen. And they also need to accept that when an accidental trigger happens, that although their first instinct is to curl up and hide or demand a warning or even resort to old behaviours, what they need to do is accept the shock and work through it. Because each time you get accidentally triggered and work through it, the shock next time is less.

Your well meaning advice about how to make it all nice and safe is making it worse. Reality doesn't work like that.

that's rad and all but this is a community where we look at secrets and talk about them, not a fucking therapy session. put a trigger warning on it and shut the fuck up.
