I don't think that's what OP was getting at. I think they were saying the Parkinsons wouldn't deter them from being sexually attracted to him, even though there are many people who wouldn't/couldn't be attracted to someone with a disorder like that.

That actually doesn't sound any better. It still sounds like they're being "gracious" by setting aside his condition and what other people think to like him.
