I bought a PSP to play BBS, so I know how you feel. I never played re:coded, never had an interest, honestly, but I am intrigued by Dream Drop Distance. That being said, I completely agree with how insulting it is that Square Enix is dropping games that are tied together onto different consoles. I was lucky enough and maybe even crazy enough to have and spend the money on a used PSP, but I'm less enthused about buying a 3DS. I just kind of want to play the games all in one convenient location.

Also, the battle system does indeed make it better. I love that thing. <3
