I do this a lot. Well, not for daydreaming about shipping exactly (unless I'm brainstorming how to make a pairing a work), but general meditative, would-rather-be-in-my-own-head times. Pulling out a book, drawing pad, or mobile is really handy as a "busy; go away" device. I'm unintentionally abrasive irl though, so I'd rather look uninviting than be verbally so when possible.
