(Anonymous) 2011-12-25 07:59 am (UTC)(link)Everyone is allowed to ship whatever they want, but because you think people who ship a pairing you don't see as canon, it must mean they're completely misunderstanding the characters and their relationship? What an insensitive thing to say.
It's great you can see what a hypocrite you're being with your reasoning when it comes to shipping different pairings, but it doesn't make it okay.
And before you go "whatever", you made this secret for us to see; of course people are gonna jump on you.
As for how legit Xavier/Magneto is, that's up to interpretation. There's no "this is canon, this isn't canon". Their relationship was left very much ambiguous, there are bound to be people on both sides of the argument. Doesn't instantly mean they're misunderstanding anything.
