Yeah, it's just a very different style comparatively. So when it started to change, I was upset because the main thing I liked about said roleplay was the style that you wrote in.

Sure, everyone is arrogant, but if it's to the point that you just seem like a complete jerk about it, then it's not quite as understandable. It's like looking down on other people because you're smarter than them and refusing to associate with anyone of a lesser intelligence.

Hmm o.o Yeah, I don't understand.

Well, if you took a look at the OP secret, then we're at even odds.

Hm, well you could say that Island has a more informal style to me, which works fine for crack roleplays like that one. The one I was involved in was plot based and started out with a 3rd person, formal style, almost like fanfiction with the occasional aside by the player or joke. Not strictly formal, but more stuck in between the two. And haha, when you're in the middle of an admittedly emotional scene and get caught up in it, the style that the Island uses kind of takes away from it for me. Preference, I guess.

I guess so. I agree with the secret in part just because I'm wary about anyone that I know that plays there when I first meet them, but I don't outright think less of them or refuse to associate with them. I don't think I'm above them or below them. I think that we're just both people on the internet with a very basic shared interest of roleplaying.

Heh heh, I see. Well, I'm not very experienced in third person, so I guess I can't relate.
