You have to generate interest internally, anon. You won't just suddenly be passionate about something. Just pick something you kinda like, give yourself a goal about it - like idk, say learning French, and your goal is to finish a self-study book in 6 months. Commit to it, work on it every day. With the commitment and hard work and accomplishment you become passionate about it, especially if you can make friends who are also into it. Join a club or sth. Hikaru didn't really give a fuck about Go at first - he was doing it for Sai. But he got into it with time.
Passion won't come to you! You have to CHASE IT!!!
