Too Big: He's the ~fandom darling~ because he's that much more appealing than the competition. He never raped anyone (better than 67% of his competition), he's mature and has shown himself to be a responsible adult by raising his daughter to be a good person all on his own (more than any of his competition can boast), and is straightforward and upfront with what he wants and expects from a relationship (Takano's really the only one who holds a candle to him in that respect). People don't like him just because he's new and shiny.

Yokozawa himself also admitted that if he had wanted to stop being dragged around, he could have done so--I don't think he ever suspected Kirishima would've shown any pictures he may or may not have had, because he respected the guy's ethics; Yokozawa just gets carried away with his emotions and rose to Kirishima's challenge.

It wasn't nice of him to let Yokozawa think he'd slept with a coworker he barely knew, but Yokozawa kind of needed it anyways he even admits. Without everything Kirishima did for him, he'd still be wallowing in a pool of self-pity. Ends justify the means for me in this case, and if we're going to judge characters by how their actions in BL would be Not Okay in real life, I really think Kirishima Zen is near the BACK of that line.
