I never looked at it that way! While the ship war-weary part of me is inclined to disagree that people can't find silly reasons to hate one another over shippings, I think the part this secret is addressing, just the passion for a pairing in itself, IS pretty inspiring.

This is a good secret <33 I never really thought about it that way, but I think that attitude towards shipping is much nicer/healthier than hating on non-canon, out-there ships just because they're not obvious. Now that I think about it, people looking so hard to see love between characters, especially ones that don't seem at first like they should go together, is really sweet in a way that never really occurred to me before. Seriously, this secret is making me smile the goofiest smile right now, well done, OP <3 I'm glad this one was first.

That's a sweet sentiment to believe in, but it's also naive. I've seen too many of those non-canon shippers trying to use the tolerance card as an excuse to hate on the canon ships in too many fandoms to seriously think your dream will ever come true.
