6. Every time I see a secret about how much Strikethrough annoys someone, I immediately label that person as "Someone who can't get the fuck over it".

Funny, because I think the same thing everyone uses a strikethrough icon weeks (months?) after it ended.

Yes! I can't STAND the people that got annoyed by Strikethrough. I took it completely seriously.

I never take anything completely seriously (hence the funny icon). A number of people didn't take it seriously at all, which I found a bit disturbing. But you didn't see me going around calling them complacent doormats, so I don't see why they thought (and apparently still think) it was cool to go around calling other people whiners.

Except that, you know, people whining about whiners is always amusing.

also 'reading fanfiction' was NEVER part of LJ's idea of a pedophile. They got rid of the shota communities? W/e, I can see how they'd see that as being pedo-ish. They were a little drastic, but it wasn't the goddamn holocaust.

And yet...you're still using those icons.
I'm certainly 'over it', but everytime I see one of those icons...well, honestly, why have a stupid icon bitching about something that happened weeks ago, and is over and done with? 'Debating' isn't an issue, hell, it's not even honestly about the icons. I'm definetely not 'offended' by anything either, I just think it's silly as hell and that people should have dropped it. THEY were the ones acting as if some kind of 'ethnic cleansing' of anyone who's a fan of ANYTHING had swept over LJ. The melodrama was just...laughable, and I can't help but roll my eyes at anyone who takes that kind of thing -that- seriously. So yeah, I felt the need to rant, I suppose ;)

I'm terribly sorry I haven't gotten around to editing my userpics in the whole three or four weeks this whole thing has been resolved. Obviously I'm a wanky, unrealistic drama queen with a life outside of LJ. *tear*

And I completely agree that people should drop it. However, I don't find the people whining about the whiners any more agreeable than the people still whining. They're both ridiculous.
