It's a terrible feeling, because the last thing you want is to leave someone hanging and make them feel like their reply wasn't good enough to respond to. In fact, like you, usually it's because I'm trying my hardest to be as good as the person I'm playing with.

And man, RP through AIM can become incredibly awkward when it takes forever to type up two paragraphs. It's so frustrating to be stuck. :/ I sympathize.

Yeah... It's not cool. Because -they- don't realize how bad -we're- stressing. So, there's anxiety, and guilt and aggravation and... All sorts of other crap that just complicates, and can even cause resentment.
Like, I don't like to suggest we RP unless I have an idea as to what to play. I hate going "Wanna RP?" "Sure" "Great, what do you wanna do, because I have NO ideas?"

So people think I just... Don't want to RP anymore.


I actually prefer AIM RP. When you're both right there, you can't really put it off, you have to respond. Funny, I don't usually respond well to pressure but when it comes to RPing... Journal threads are worse for me.
