What? But the only Hufflepuff that I remember was Cedric. I don't think a Hufflepuff actually did anything notable except him. So, yes, no one expects a Hufflepuff because they really haven't done anything.

I also wouldn't categorize the Bride as one, since she went on a revenge mission and the clothes in that picture are based on something Bruce Lee wore in one of his movies.

Well... Besides Cedric, there's also Tonks, Pomona Sprout, Justin Finch-Fletchley, Hannah Abbot, Ernie Macmillan, Susan Bones and Zacharias Smith.
Also, some sources say Ollivander is either from Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw.

So, I don't think they're that under-represented in the canon, I think the problem lies with how they're represented. For example, all the Slytherins were portrayed as antagonistic; easy characteristic for anyone to remember, though not accurate for every Slytherin in existence, but still everyone remembers them as the Evil house. Ravenclaw had Cho and Luna, both who interacted with Harry a lot. On top of that, we're constantly reminded how Hermione could've been in Ravenclaw. All the Hufflepuffs on the other hand, were just portrayed as sidekicks - and let's be honest; nobody remembers the sidekick, especially if they don't act outside their role.
I always thought Hufflepuff as a very private and mysterious house in general, so I can sorta see where the OP comes from.


As for the Bride, idk much about Kill Bill, but I thought the secret pointed out that clothes weren't why OP chose to classify her as a Hufflepuff?

That may be the case, but I thought Hufflepuffs were the loyal ones, in which case, the Bride doesn't fit because she went on a revenge mission that proved her resourcefulness and connections more than anything.

I guess? It just makes me think of horoscopes: it may be right in some respects, but wrong in others. Also, the descriptions are broad enough so it works. For example Hermione: she smart and clever, enough so she could have been a Ravenclaw, but she's obviously has enough of other traits so she's in Gryffindor.
