I felt the same way when I got into SPN last year. I couldn't believe there was this ginormous treasure trove right under my nose and I didn't discover it sooner.

Like you said, wank and crazy be damned (thought I didn't feel half the animosity I felt in the Torchwood fandom in this one. I must've roamed the right circles,) it is so vast and full of goodies the joy never ends. And it was the first time I found a fandom that catered to nearly All my kinks, angst and fetish alike, and even had a place where you could ask people to find you exactly the kind of story you crave. My only worry is that I fall out of it before I get to read and see all the best things. I know I'll never hit bottom of the barrel with this but there's always a chance I grow tired like it happened with so many fandoms before.
