I've never seen Code Geass but is that character (Nina? I just remember the scene of her masturbating with a table) really that bad? All the hatred from this one anon is starting to freak me out

The extreme hate freaks me out too, hence why some of Code Geass fandom gets kind of creepy. But since you asked, this is what I can remember of why she's hated:

Being racist about Japanese people
Her obsession over Euphemia (leading to that table scene, and to her trying to blow up Tokyo at the end of R1 when Euphie died)
Making the FLEIJA, which did kill people

But the main thing is I think a lot of her most vitriolic haters are uncomfortably reminded of their own worst personal flaws.

Nina was just, honestly, fucking boring. She was crazy about Euphemia and a racist with a bomb. That...was really about it. No character development, no growth, no focus. She was a bit character with a bit role.
