What's the fandom? If I've watched/played/read it I'd be willing to write some h/c for you. That's my favorite genre, and you sound like you deserve it D:

I don't know why such large parts of fandom always go to extremes and either have to fetishize weakness or condemn it. It's not strength to deny pain or sadness, and it's not cute to be perpetually in need of comfort. Some of my favorite characters get the same treatment too, and it sucks because it's their weak parts that I like and relate to the most.

I really hope you find the h/c fic that you want, or that one of the guys from above writes one for you. :)

I hate that people are making it hard (through their own personal preferences) to find fic that suits yours. I'm a big fan of fandom being for everyone's tastes and what I don't read being no skin off my back.

Asking is good. Some people will hate it, but playing the RL sucks for me card does work in motivating people to try help. Asking for recs, or even writing a plea on your own LJ requesting it all helps. With more eyes than yours, maybe you'll find the fic you are looking for.
