Yes, so true! I adored Kyle to bits, too -- I loved how he constantly tried to be this action hero like Tyler or Donovan, but usually screwed up and ended up having to be saved by Elizabeth. Their relationship was so damn cute, I'll never get over the fact that the series ended on such a cliffhanger note ;_;
