Most people who knew me at least a little (hanging on the same boards) figured out it was me within days, I heard later.
Not that it mattered much.

(Anonymous) 2012-01-09 06:26 pm (UTC)(link)The sock was a new LJ, because I was getting very negative but knew better than to pollute fan-boards with it.
Only a few people who didn't know me very well had a hard time figuring out who I was.
So when I found their posts wondering about this, I made a reveal on the journal, and the consequences were... zilch.
It did gather interest though, more than my official fansite, and people found it more funny than offensive (I did try to make it fun, can't see the point of wasting my time being just negative).
Interesting experience, in hindsight.
