I think you're mistaken. All that's needed to read Braille is to be able to run your fingertip over a line of text and to be able to find the next line. For most people, this probably means using both hands: one fingertip to read; one to mark the next line's start. But if you say that Daredevil, of all people, couldn't possibly know where to find the next line without using a second hand, I think you're forgetting the whole "super senses" bit.

Hate to break it to you, but there is no single correct way to read. Your one blind friend doesn't make up the entire population of blind people who read Braille.

As I understand from my blind friend, who don't really read braille, but did learn it at one point, you basically use your second hand as support, the same way as some people put their finger under what they read, also it is faster to read with both hands than only one...

Off course I could be mistaken...

Semi-off topic:

The Daredevil DVD introduced me to the Descriptive Audio track (?? for the visually impaired) and I absolutely love it! I always make a second run through a movie with that track whenever it's available with subtitles for maximum information. 8D I like how it sometimes points out things I missed or didn't actively process.

...just curious, does anyone else like the descriptive audio track for movies?
