Not everyone who loves villains justifies what they do. I love villains because I find them more interesting then the good guys half the time, they often have good back stories and they make the overall plot more exciting. For me I love a really good funny villain, especially if the hero is particularly hypocritical, a sarcastic villain can be awesome to call the hero on all their crap.

Realistically, I would never like a person like that, but for fiction? I can't live without a good villain.

Understandable. I like Azula from Avatar, but in no way do I believe anything she did was okay. So I get your point.

It's just that...people actually defend evil actions. Even in fiction...that's a bit strange to me.
