22: If they wanted to explore the characters feeling guilty and needing to reconcile the church's doctrines with their own happiness, or perhaps having to hide these affairs, I would really like to read it. Even though I'm not a big fan of the series, that sort of thing would make a great fic. (Oho, is this my corrupted priest fixation showing a little?)

But I'm assuming you mean that the writers just skip the step, and instead write everyone A-okay with the pairings, even though obviously they'd go against church rules? Now that's just lol. I thought celibacy and anti-sodomy were somewhat given policies when it came to Catholics, sort of like their really strict policies on birth control and masturbation. xD

Now I'm wondering if anyone has written some AbelxAbel's left hand, and whether or not they confronted that issue.

That's really want I meant. Many Trinity Blood writers just kinda skip the steps of being a Catholic, and completely disregard it, as in the sense that they make Abel and Tres kiss in front of the Pope.

I'm not saying 'OMFG GET ALL THE CATHOLIC CANON RIGHT!!!oneoneone1111' because not even I can keep it straight, but I am pretty sure it's common knowledge that the Catholic Church does not condone homosexuality and/or abortion, so Tres kissing Abel blatanly in the Pope's throne just would fly. Neither would Esther trying to kill a baby.
