(Anonymous) 2007-07-06 03:36 am (UTC)(link)I never said it was a realistic portrayal of my religion, I am asking fandom to get their hands out of their pants and at least regard the fact that priests are celibate-- doesn't mean they don't have feelings for others, but they sure as hell are not fucking each other every night.

If the canon itself doesn't abide by the rules of the creed it portrays, why should the fans? It's fiction. I fail to see how the fans are making any more of a "fucking punch line" out of your religion than the series itself.
