I think it is something about normal humans being basically dinner for the full vampires (which I can't for the life of me remember what they where called in the books) and the reason to why they do it is because of the high or something...

I've only read some of the books and that was ages ago, so I might be wrong...

Yes, you're right! The Morois have like a catering service and some don't even do it for the money anymore, they just do it for the high. And then there are bloodwhores who are basically single mothers. The Moroi fathers visit them to drink and breed. Fuck and breed buddies but never good enough to marry because the halfbreeds can only spawn with the full vamps.

Wait? Okay now I am confused. If I remember correctly the full blood vampires have humans (?) in the school cafeteria that sits around to be nibbled on right? Or is that some other vampire book?

Oops, my mistake, yes, that's the book where they have feeders in the cafeteria. Yes, the humans are feeders, blood whores in VA only pertain to dhampirs. ^^;

Also is this the books where the main female character was in love with her trainer/teacher (?) and she went around protecting this full blood (?) vampire because it was her duty because her family had done it for generations? Or something?

Yes! Rose (the main character), in love with her trainer/teacher (Dmitri), protecting the full blood vampire princess (Lissa), because halfbloods are either bodyguards for the fullbloods or kinda useless outcasts. Her dad's like part of a mafia, and her mom's a really kickass dhampir. And her bff's the last member of her family, although not really according to the last book. It kind of got predictable in the long run and I think the ~long lost relative~ angle was introduced so the author can write a spinoff because the series is coming to an end.

Oh right, that was the story, I think I read like the first two books and the sexual tension between those two was so annoying, I was all just jump her goddammit! (which I think happened at one point?)

Oh right, that was what was so special with the fullblood girl!

Arg, me too! I got the books as a set for Christmas a few years ago, so I read four in one go but just... arg!

SPOILERS BELOW!!!













Yeah, they hook up once and then he dies XD (turned into Strigoi). Rose goes awol and goes after him for a whole book (oh, this is where we see a whole village of blood whores), and there's more sexual tension because he withholds sex to try to manipulate her into joining the dark side... and she eventually stakes him and throws him off a bridge, but he survives. But then Lissa is a Spirit user, so she brings him back to life in the next book.

No prob! It's kinda fun revisiting old fandoms. :D

Really! I really need to read the books again, I am a sucker for these kinds of plots, which is why i am currently reading Janet Evanovich's books, we have an expression in Norwegian "housewife porn" which that basically is, without the porn. It's glorious!

In the books, the women who provide blood for the vamps and enjoy it are called bloodwhores. This term is kind of popular in vampire fiction & fanfiction, too. :/

Ahh, I don't really stick to the same kind of books that much, or well I do read everything written by the same author if I love one of their books, but at last count I am reading 18 books (as in I have started to read all of them) atm, and I can separate them when I am reading, but trying to explain something, especially when I can't remember names of any kind for the life of me is interesting to say the least...

I have exceptional memory, at least for fiction, other stuff not so much, but I can remember the plots of books I read in like 5th grade, I might have to read a chapter or two from the book before I remember it all but...

Oh yeah, I forgot about him. But there aren't really a lot of them and they don't band together and form communities like the females do, where they raise their children and have more children from the Morois who 'visit' them.
