To some people it is akin to having my appendix removed. I certainly treated my abortion as such. You may not feel that way, but many women do so please do not talk like you know how everyone feels about the subject.

Most women who have abortions aren't anywhere close to drowning in depression afterwards like the anti-choice want to pretend. Majority=not what you think.

No shit, Holmes. Glad you can do your homework. But a foetus? Still nothing like an appendix. An uneducated dunce is the only kind of person who would ever make that comparison. Anybody who associates a foetus with an organ needs psychological help.

I'm sorry. I wasn't very clear. I didn't mean the emotions of the women who have abortions, I meant the ethics surrounding abortion (and by extension how various people may react to the
topic. Abortion always mean the death of something/someone and that's why it's different from regular medical treatment.

I think by "something" she means something with its own set of DNA, etc. It's entirely different from just ~cancer cells~, stop being so dense. Christ, I swear abortion turns everyone into a raving imbecile.

Neither of those things have their own dna from the host or will grow into a full-fledged person. If you check pro-choice blogs, literature etc you won't see anyone arguing that a fetus isn't a human being in the biological sense. That argument was over and done with in the 1970s.

If you can't accept that abortion ends with the death of a human life, then maybe you need to re-think your position on abortion.
