I don't think the two should be mixed. Leave Fallout's writing to Bethesda, who owns it, or to people who know how to write compellingly (Obsidian, who more or less did Fallout 1 and 2 too.)

Ahh, alright. I have to admit I agree with you there. I like both series but just...not together. Maybe it's just me, but the feel the two series have just wouldn't mix well I think.

But... they're completely different.

I love the Fallout series and the Fable series for different reasons.
I would hate to see them smashed together.
That sounds horrible.

I could be down for a post-apocalyptic game with an interesting world to explore that had a well done morality structure in place and a compelling storyline. Not really mixing Fable 2 and Fallout 3 though, but a new game with a new plot, world, characters.

Hell, I'd be down for more post-apocalyptic games that weren't centered around zombies. I love them, but some more variety would be nice.
