A lot of everything is poorly written. Sturgeon's Law: 90% of everything is crap. That doesn't stop straight men from reading poorly written non-yaoi stuff.

Yes, this is a VERY flawed generalization. But one that has shaped the minds of a lot of young children.

I saw a pic on /u/ once of a woman with some kind of growth in her breasts/disorder or sth that made them grow up to gigantic hentai-like proportions. (She eventually got surgery because she couldn't walk anymore).

I think of that picture now when I see hentai girls with giganto-breasts.
