I think this secret has made a lot of us feel more real than we have in a while. Reading words like that, it puts a lot of things into a different perspective. I can't help but think about how people tend to be so consumed by the daily grind that we allow things so much control of our thoughts and emotions no matter how trivial they are. That we forget how alive we are, and how life is such a precious thing and yet it's so easily taken for granted.

OP, I have no idea what to say, and I doubt I could ever say anything to make you feel better. I just hope that in time, you won't still have to look away from your favorite childhood book and first fandom. Good memories and experiences like that are a part of what makes us who we are, they're what makes us real.
