Sorry if it did so. I do want to point out that in comments afterward I tried to clarify that I took the image talking about extreme drinking and partying, not occasional drinks or getting drunk on a semi-regular basis. I myself enjoy having a few (or quite a few) drinks now and again. Admittedly I don't enjoy it too much so it's rare for me, but I recognize the appeal of certain levels of drinking for fun. (For instance, when I get into what my friends call 'my happy zone', I start to speak in rhyme! Which is hilarious, except I don't like to do it in plublic, so there is that.)

..Anyway, no hard feelings?

Nope, no hard feelings. I get your point of view, it's just that I've met people in fandoms who act condescending towards people who drink, and who also think everyone is the same when it comes to drinking, so I was a bit sensitive about it.
I actually like your other comments on FS, and you seem like a cool person.

Whew, that's good. I really didn't mean to offend most drinkers (as that would be rather hypocritical of me. Seriously, in one one shot I talk about drunk-writing on the kink-meme in the A/N. Really not one to talk bad about the general 'getting drunk'). And I can understand getting annoyed at people who slam it.
