Yeah, AH fic with the names changed (find replace). The "author" was approached by TWCS who notoriously seek out fic authors for publication. It bothers me on many levels. Morally but also because I feel they are doing these aspiring writers a disservice. They aren't helping them learn the true craft of writing at all or the way the real publishing world works. Granted that world is changing but still, I hate the idea of them getting hosed by basically fake publishing companies that prey on fic writers to make a quick buck.
