(Anonymous) 2012-01-20 07:49 pm (UTC)(link)I love memes as much as the next guy but...I'd prefer it if someone didn't use memes to communicate "I love you, marry me".
I think it also bothers me because I'm not a fan of public proposals. I've always felt like marriage proposals should be a very private and intimate moment that don't put the woman (or man) on the spot. Having like one or two friends or family members present is cute but when you have a bunch of people making a crowd around you and snapping pics (and then having it posted on the internet)..kind of takes the intimacy and romance out of it, imo.
Adorkable awkward but to each their own.
