I have to say I liked them too until he became evil again. They were hot together and Cole was very interesting in a show where the male characters used to be very bland.

She's saying she likes Phoebe with Coop, not Cole.

I liked them together before he died like a 100th time, because, come on, it was getting ridiculous. But otherwise, yeah, it was an only great cannon pair in the show, imo.

...Coop didn't die? Did he? I don't remember that.

I think you're thinking of Cole, not Coop (understandable given their similar names), which is who the secret is referring to.

That said, you didn't like Piper/Leo? Out of pure curiosity, how come? They weren't without their annoying melodrama (but really, which Charmed couple was?), but I always thought they complimented each other really well.

This just goes to show how much I don't give a fuck about Coop's character. I don't even remember who he is.

Phoebe/Cole forever!

Ahaha... my problem with this couple is the same problem I have with Paige/Henry: it felt rushed, undeveloped, and pulled out of the writing team's asses for the sole purpose of having each sister have a man + kids for that end sequence in Forever Charmed.

As much as I agree with you, I still thought both couples were cute.

Then again, I never really got all the Phoebe/Cole love, so I was just glad she ended up with someone vastly different than Cole.

I agree with both of you, I never really got TOOO into Cole I guess because when I finally watched this series he'd been long gone so every scene with him in it felt...tainted I guess? Because I knew Julian was tired of the show and wanted to move on... tbh, I liked Coop but I wish he'd come in at least a season or two before the end of the show because again, like Paige and Henry (who I liked!) it felt so rushed and (shit Phoebe needs a love interest quick!!!)

I'm just glad they made him a cupid for a bit so it actually made sense why they'd get together so fast. Otherwise, I just didn't care about anyone besides Piper/Leo, because they're problems were so ridiculous. Loved Phoebe/Cole though.

I always liked Coop too. They really rushed the whole storyline though, so compared to the multiseason drama of pheobe/cole a lot of people didn't get enough time to like it I think.

Plus it lead to the 'uncle coop' line and Chris having to teach his stupid older brother how to time travel correctly which is possibly my favorite moment of the entire show.

Cole was hot. That's the problem, I think.

I actually think Coop is hotter. Still don't ship him with Phoebe.

What I don't like about it is that the Elders set them up and yet told no one. I mean, yeah, Phoebe might have been still a bit wary (which I suppose means less excuse for the writers to not go this route) but it would have cut down with the dopey 'Our Love is Forbidden!!!one!!1!' bit, which was a part of her and Cole's and Piper/Leo's relationships so my reaction was more 'not again' and then to have 'forbidden love is actually not forbidden' made me feel more irritated than anything else.

But otherwise, it was fine.

I quite like Phoebe/Coop, him a lot more than her. I thought it was nice that he got to find love for himself after finding it for so many others.

I didn't hate Coop as a character, he just didn't work with Phoebe for me. But then again, Phoebe/Cole will always and forever be my OTP for this fandom. No other ship for either of them could ever touch that. I'm a multi-shipper in a lot of fandoms, but not for this one. The chemistry those two had was just amazing, and with Phoebe and Coop I saw none of that.
