Is the OP talking about shota in general or straight shota specifically? Guys who are into straight shota typically are into it because they relate to the little boy (maybe they were hot for teacher or something when they were kids). With gay shota it's a crap shoot: who knows if the guy is relating to the kid or the adult? When a woman likes shota it's pretty much guaranteed that she's perving on the thought of a pretty anime boy being molested. This is probably why the OP thinks that female fans of shota are creepier than male fans. This isn't an uncommon mentality: most people are probably less creeped out by the thought of female loli fans than male loli fans.
