Large groups of people packed close together, many of them in heavy costumes. See the same shit at comic conventions.

I'm sorry but this is not the case. Cons are fun and everything, but large groups of people packed close together in other places do not smell like B.O.

Seriously, this. I've been in cramped mosh pits filled with people wearing leather for hours on end and they don't smell half as bad as some of the people who attend cons.

Sure, there's a bit of sweat and BO involved, but "person who is sweating after a day of walking around in packed areas" and "person who hasn't washed in days" generally have two very different scents.
