You know, actually, I've felt like this about various fandoms before - that I wished I wasn't still enjoying it on some level because another part of me really didn't enjoy it anymore. But those times have to only been passing phases (sometimes longer than others) before I realised that none of me enjoyed whatever it was, and then I just gave it up and moved on.

I have a friend who I wish was together enough to post this secret. Her obsession with it is scary it's been going on over eight years of intense crazy. I love her, and she is strange and sorta smelly...mean but true. But I wish she would stop. I'm Autistic and my savant usually lasts only three years max. Trying to imagine how various characters would react to the porny fics of them in various pairings is one of my favorite pastimes. Voldemort's reaction to Voldemort/Harry (or better yet Voldemort/Dumbledore) is particularly amusing.
