Except... monkeys have a habit of cleaning their teeth just like humans.
And, y'know, she probably also brushed her teeth, but in ways that really aren't comparable to modern times. They probably had equally bad mouth hygiene.

So, yes... EWWW

Totally not a deal breaker for me tho, I'd probably still try to tap that jungle ass. Just avoid the mouth.
