No, the first time she appears. I remember flipping through a couple hundred pages like crazy trying to find out the part where she beats up England. (I love England in Hetalia, and I certainly miss the fandom at times, but I just adore Joan of Arc in history and so that kinda pressed all my wrong buttons in that scene).

And true enough, I just wish the artist didn't go quite so extreme with Joan in a war scene. I mean, even France had some BA moments in that page! And the whole joke was about how France had to use a girl, instead of the end of the joke being how said Girl proceeded to kick ass.

Urgh, just rubbed me the wrong way. Mind, this was a couple years ago, so he could have changed it up since then. I only vaguely heard about the reincarnation later on.

I hope Hima never shows Joan of Arc beating England up. I would be terribly sad if that's all we get of the Hundred Years War. Like, really sad.

I remember now. Yes, the joke was on France and I can't say I mind. As I said, M. Theresa appears to be just another queen and she was amazing. Then again, Hungary is shown as a warrior, so I'm not sure I can agree.

Well, I simply meant for that battle (though depending on what battle it was), or not beating him up directly- but a quick final panel that shows that England lost that particular fight and in shock would have gone a long way to make it hilarious.

As I haven't read the M. Theresa bits, I will take your word for it. But the Hungary parts were awesome. As I said, Joan was merely a tipping point for me as I am a big fan of her in history. (Although I do wish we saw more of dressed-as-a-boy!Hungary, but that may be my love of crossdressing characters who do it because it's comfortable as compared to some overall 'gotta get into x school' theme.) It was Joan as a tipping point, but a lot of other stuff lead up to it. I'm sure he wrote other historical characters in ways which other fans might agree/disagree with with a lot more humor than me. Like I said, it just pushed aaaalll my wrong buttons in that scene.

I understand it. I've never been much interested in Joan of Arc. I love the Hundred Years War (well, as much as you can love it) but I'm more interested in the first part of, especially under Edward III (and Agincourt, of course).

Tbh, I wish we could see more Medieval strips. Or Tudor/Valois era strips. The 20th century is fine and dandy, but I want my kick-ass England.

Yessssss. Dang, more Medieval stuff would definitely have a chance of sucking me back into Hetalia. I am such a history nerd, but 20th century stuff just doesn't do as much for me as the older stuff.

And I would possibly sell my soul to see some stuff based off of Tacitus's works. Agricola and Germania? YES PLEASE.

*Nod nod*

I want the fall of the Roman Empire so badly. It's scary.
