Really?

Unless Lulu was really several months pregnant via Wakka during the entirety of FFX, then no, it wasn't an instant transition. Plus, that wouldn't explain where Paine, the Gulls, the ship, two new, entrenched political factions, a rebuilt Killika or all that mess suddenly appeared from thin air. Think a bit.

Er...what exactly are you talking about? The pre-FFX-2 cutscene takes place just before FFX-2's beginning, not just after FFX's ending. So Yuna stayed relatively the same until JUST before FFX-2 began, when she decided she needed a new disguise and a new persona. So it wasn't a transition of two years that changed her. It was a short conversation with Rikku and a new wardrobe that changed her.
