I could never make poles/ropes work for me, but in retrospect I might have been pushing too hard. Still... traumatic memories, woohoo.

(Anonymous) 2012-01-24 02:32 pm (UTC)(link)For me, it was the knots at the bottom of ropes like that that could sometimes do it, but not always. The rope itself hurt like nothing else. I never figured out how other girls got poles to work for them, though. :/
