Because people aren't perfect, and while they may occasionally make OP feel like crap, that's not saying they're always acting like that. They could be super awesome funtime friends, except for this one annoying thing. If I were to drop all of my friends that had bad habits or weren't 100% perfect, I'd have no friends. Because people aren't perfect.

Yeah, it's very hard to just pick and choose your friends. Friendship happens, and a lot of the time you can't really help being friends even if they have some (or lots of) flaws. Of course, sometimes it's better to break off a friendship if it's getting really unhealthy or if it's conditional and unaccepting, but sometimes friends become something more to you than just "people you enjoy being around" -- they become a basic part of your life, and if you dropped everyone who annoyed you or angered you in some way, you'd not only have no one, you wouldn't feel it was worth it.
