You're not alone OP. As long as you know the difference between fiction and reality you'll be alright. Maybe even try to turn the affection you have for the character into something productive. I usually take my fandom loves and use them to help me want to learn new things and take up new activities because I know it's something that the character would like and enjoy.

Just don't shut out real life and you'll be fine. I have many fictional men that I love and that have inspired me in countless ways and that in-between boyfriends have been great comforts at times!
