I love that scene! Even moreso because it really reminded me of the "Riddikulus" curse from Harry Potter. And I agree -- it's an awesome way of looking at things.

I remember I had paralyzing nightmares for days on end after watching the Doctor Who episode "Blink" at 1 AM in pitch darkness alone in my room (fuck you if you laugh -- especially given the setting, that was seriously the scariest thing I'd ever seen in my life) and I wound up gritting my teeth, going online, pulling some footage of the weeping angels from youtube, and editing the clips on my computer to the tune of the William Tell Overture. That was directly inspired by "Riddikulus" -- namely, a conversation I once had with my sister about how Harry should force his dementor-boggarts to sing and dance and trip over their cloaks to make himself laugh.
