Whoa whoa whoa. No need to hate a ship that makes YOU happy just because a lot of the shippers make you roll your eyes in embarrassment. I've been there, and I've also been on the "everything I ship is hated or is never written for" side of the court. I'd have to say it's better to have lots of people that ship it than your ship being known as "oh, that one weird thing viciousimp ships".

Just ignore the people you don't like. I know it may be difficult since you're in the same circle of the fandom, but you shouldn't feel so bad about liking something a lot of others like. I don't think it's pathetic at all, I'm glad you continue to like what brings you happiness as a ship, not necessarily as a person in the fandom. Know what I mean?
