I agree, on both counts! Man, on my old FF.net count I wrote so many fanfics about them... many horribly written ones, but nonetheless.

And exactly! And I can so identify with the 'not good at something, but gosh darnit I'M GOING TO TRY.' I think most of us feel like that even when we are actually good at something, which just don't believe it. (But seriously, him and characters like him help inspire me when learning languages as I suck at it. I have actually done a punching-the-air pose, or thumbs up, to encourage myself at times. XD)

I wrote Naruto fanfics a loooooong time ago.... I shudder at the thought of rereading them now. |D

Yes! I ♥ Rock Lee! he's just so inspiring.
