...no, seriously XD Send me a pm, because I want to get to know you :D The movie catapulted me back into my childhood and into a full-blown obsession with Tintin <3 And of course, I do ship these two precious men <3 The original comics are so full of "aww" inducing bromance and comfortable showing of affection that it's hardly a surprise XD

There was a cartoon that aired on Nickelodeon in the United States (I assume it was in Canada too, but probably on a different channel or something) in the 90s and that's how I got into it as a kid. Then my library had all the books in English so yeah

Tintin was my childhood hero, too (I'm from Europe, lots of us read Tintin), and even though I don't watch movies with slash goggles on (though I do like both het and slash), I still noticed the slashiness LOLZ! My reaction to it surprised me, too. Some of the slash art I've seen since then made me go O___O and \o/ at the same time.

It's specifically the movie versions only though for me. Can't see it at all in the cartoon or comics, even after trying to revisit it with slash goggles, so I tend to just skip fanwork of those two that refers or takes place in those.

I got out of the movie theater feeling so many shipping feelings about them two <3

And then I felt sad for not knowing Tintin before. Really sad. But that got quickly resolved when I began reading the comics. Now I'm only missing the first two, King Ottokar's Sceptre and Alph-art!
