I love Adele, but I can't listen to ANY of her songs without flipping my shit. It's playing fucking everywhere, in every cafe and shop, and this particular song is in every wedding! (I work with weddings, so I hear this song EVERY DAY. Note to people who are getting married: your song selections aren't original at all. I glare daggers every time someone says they will have this song playing at their wedding.)
It's great that she's popular, especially with her talent as a singer/song-writer, but GODDAMN I need a break. She needs to go away for a while, my ears are literally bleeding.

Yes. Yes they do. Sometimes just once, sometimes twice. But during the last, oh I don't know, 5 or 6 months, every wedding has played this song. Because "it's so heartbreaking, that'll never happen to us", "bittersweet and beautiful", and "we have to honor our exes". And it's not just the couples in their 20s, it's also the ones in their 30s and 40s. To me it just screams obnoxious, because on top of it all, usually the couple thinks they're being oh-so-original. After 100+ couples it really starts to lose its shine...

Sorry. Had to rant. Can you tell I'm sick of this song?
