This soundtrack is honestly such a great pick-me-up. I absolutely love the final song, A Star Is Born! Unfortunately, I think it's a lot better as a stand alone song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EobR7GVs2d0) rather than how it's portrayed in the movie (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VjHWbtTWe8). It's really forgettable in the animation sequence.

Myth inaccuracies be damned, 'I Won't Say I'm in Love' is still one of my favorite Disney songs EVER, especially combined with Meg's general badassness. ^_^ Also Michael Bolton's song is awesome. Yes, this is a weird opinion lol.

I was raised on Greek Myths as bedtime stories as a kid, and I adore Hercules. It's a good movie, but a poor adaptation (like most Disney films).

Like you were really going to have Hercules as the bastard child that Hera keeps trying to kill as a Disney movie. Hades was funny and Meg was awesome and Hercules' kind-hearted-farmboy personality was adorable.

*shrug* It's a great soundtrack. Try and youtube for some of the Foreign Language versions of the songs (The Japanese 'I Can Go the Distance' comes to mind) - they're pretty good as well.

Nah, that's fair! The soundtrack is probably the best part. Although my best friend and I did sit in the back of Clash of the Titans quoting that and giggling to ourselves. "Uh...guys? Olympus is THAT way."

I've always loved that soundtrack. I love Disney in general but this movie definitely isn't one of their better ones. I still enjoyed it but I haven't watched it in years and yeah, the soundtrack is the most memorable part.

It's probably my favorite Disney soundtrack (and movie) too.

I'm also a mythology geek who has studied Greek myth for years, and I don't give a damn about "inaccuracies". I love the little mythology-based jokes and references that both the movie and the animated series slips in every now and then.
