(Anonymous) 2012-02-10 12:45 am (UTC)(link)I mean I hate the way it's clearly Orwell-esque decisions down on Earth that caused the planet to be put into such a state, but at the end everyone unites in favour of living - even though it would be just so much easier to stay on those chairs in that spaceship - just because they want to live.
It's a feel good "we can overcome" rather than "OMG THAT'S IT WE'RE ALL DEAD NOW OK"
