6. I say I'm asexual sometimes. I don't have sex or a significant other and I'm rarely attracted to anybody. Even if I am, it's not sexual, I just think they're handsome or pretty or whatnot. If I had someone to have sex with, I'm sure I'd happily claim to be a raging sexual, but since I don't, I'm simply asexual. So there.

11. The amount of academic people in the yaoi fandom or studying the yaoi fandom is pretty ridiculous. Going to Yaoi-con, you can hardly move without bumping into one. Most of my yaoi friends are older successful career women. It's just those damn 13 year old twits that rub mud in the face of all the lovely ladies out there who enjoy yaoi.

14. Pre-Shippuden Sakura = super annoying and hardly useful! Shippuden Sakura = Kickass and her protective feelings for Naruto bring much awwing. And I'm a yaoi fangirl, so there.

The problem is that some people think that any porn featuring women is exploiting them.

They are being exploited, but it's their choice. They chose a job that makes them a sexual icon. As long as they're enjoying themselves, go for it ya know. Same for guys. Be a sexual icon if you want to. I'm not gonna stop you. Have fun. Enjoy.

Oddly, I often get more riled up about fictional people being exploited. Someone out there is making a conscious decision to portray characters in such a way. If it's in character, fine. But that recent wank with the Mary Jane statue and the Heroes for Hire tentacle cover pissed me off. My priorities are funny like that.

Not many women in the porn industry would be there if they could truly freely chose. They are often victims of abuse.

So are you in the porn industry and come armed with statistics? Just sayin. Cause that is genuine exploitation, but not all porn everywhere is. Plenty of people work voluntarily as strippers, models (clothed and nude), and even various sex workers. Not all of it is ZOMG Teh EVAL! Not all of it is just and innocent, but there are parts of the industry that are definitely in there for their own reasons, money being one of them.
